Sarinbuana Eco Lodge is located on the remote slopes of Mount Batukaru in central Bali, 10 minutes to the beautiful Batukaru Rainforest.


Their beautiful six private bungalows are each uniquely designed and handcrafted.  All are situated in private locations with views in nature and hold 1 - 5 people.



All meals are homemade, prepared daily and sourced organically with love from their permaculture gardens to your table.   The focus is on healthy local flavors including many Vegan options prepared daily by their local staff and satisfying your palette while exposing you to new local sensations.


Whether you are: vegetarian, a chicken or seafood lover, vegan, guten free or raw foodie, they can make delicious meals just for you. Slow food & raw food meals are sourced within a 20km radius from the lodge where possible, using only natural mountain spring water to prepare your meals..


Their local kitchen staff will take your order in the morning for your days meals, and then spend the day harvesting, preparing and cooking slowly with nutrition
and well being in mind.

No Chemicals

  • Their swimming pool is all natural without the use of chemicals

  • No red meat on their menu (beef production has a huge carbon and water footprint)

Waste Management

  • Recycled kitchen oil is used for candles at dinner time

  • Edible kitchen food is fed to their rescued monkeys every day

  • Sewage  & wastewater is treated through vegetated leach fields

  • Glass, plastic bottles & cardboard are recycled at the refuse depot

  • They compost all organic wastes & paper onsite for their gardens

Local Culture & Economy

  • They employ teachers to teach weekly dance class for children aged 5 – 12 years old

  • Monkey rescue providing home for 3 monkeys that can't be rehabilitated back to wild
